History
Lappeenranta has a long and rich tradition of spas. Located in Lappeenranta Harbour, Lappeenranta Spa was founded in the 19th century and the present spa building was completed in 1912. Since its foundation, the spa was a summer resort for Russian aristocrats and only opened its doors year-round in the 1970s. Today, it serves as Day Spa Lähde, which offers wellness and relaxing experiences for its guests.
